You're right about that batcavejoe. My wife and I moved from RI to just west of Winston-Salem almost 3 yrs ago....and we love Asheville. We saw Plant/Krauss there last summer, but I haven't made it yet to the Orange Peel...still quite a haul from our neighborhood.

A general warning to all planing on coming from out of town, don't stay at the Sheraton Four Seasons, it's awful, awful, awful. Lots of mean spirited folks and towers, all very confusing.

If anybody is still looking for a place to pitch a tent in Greensboro, you can feel free to pm me about using my backyard =)

Also, on Spring Garden St. in the heart of campus is Old Town Draught House, a pub/bar, and on the opposite side of UNCG on Spring Garden is College Hill, a great divey post college bar w/ good daily specials, pool, foosball, etc.
