I'm in Atlanta and the wife doesn't wanna go, so I'm looking for cool people to either catch a ride with or take with me. I have a four-door sedan, so I can take 2-3 people max. I would prefer to catch a ride with someone and share expenses, but worst-case scenario I'll be driving up solo and hopefully meeting up with people for a good time.

hey drusef if you can make it to athens or commerce on the 11th i can scoop you there its on my way from orlando. i may be able to make it out to atl but no promises, it just depends on when i get out of class on the 11th. pm me we will figure it out. im camping too and planning on finding a national or state park or whatevers free. i cant give you a ride back though because im going to va, unless your headed there too.

I've been doing a little research myself and found this campground ... I'm coming up alone from Atlanta (unless I pick up some riders or catch a ride with someone) and may be pitching a tent here, if the place has room:

No cabins left :( said they actually were all reserved before the tix even went on sale. They still have some tent spots left, so that'll probably be the way to go. Anyone else?

What's it like there? How far is it from the show? I have a room at Red Roof, but hubby really likes the idea of the campground, plus it's much cheaper. Reckon they still got some cabins?

Anyone heard any recent good news on places to stay (prefer camping) after the show? I have been trying to get in touch with the people at Hagan-Stone Park (link that drusef provided) today, no luck so far. They have good rates, but it says the tent sites are first come first serve and I'm not sure if they're sticking to that system for the show or not. They also have good group rates for tent sites that are reservation only, 10 person minimum and with a deposit. That could be an option if the single tent sites are gone, let me know if anyone is interested in something like that. Ready to get all this taken care of and continue the countdown 'til Resurrection Sunday!!
