I contemplated doing the same journey as you - drive from Denver > LA > Shoreline but my wife brought me to my senses (well sort of) because we will be travelling with our 5 year old daughter and the relentless driving would ultimately tire her out which usually leads to a meltdown :-). So we are hopping on a plane and going straight to Shoreline. I actually still was up for driving down from Mountain View to LA by myself but man the drive back to Shoreline after the show would be pretty brutal. Oh well, 2 shows ain't too shabby! I still think they could have done away with the Forum and played 2 nights in Shoreline... Would have worked good for me!

I am so excited!!! I am going to go to my very first dead show in Chicago on May 5, Im even going to miss my finals to go! I can always take the class again next semester. I was going to tour from Chicago to the west coast shows, but with school I cant. Plus my boyfriend and I dished out $300 a peice for our ticks...totally worth every pennie though
