Meet Me at Shoreline...
By request of TigerLilly, who got quite the miracle ticket, a place for Shoreline-goers to converge, at least till something more official comes along... That's May 10 and 14, of course.
due to being stuck in the crowd outside I did not get to the totem pole till 6:40 and found no Dead.net folks. Indeed, due to the aforementioned fouled up logistics, the show was 45 minutes late starting. Whoever's brilliant idea it was to open the doors of a place that size an hour and a half before showtime, let's just say I do not have kind words for them.
However. The show. OMG.
I was not able to make Sundays show, but will be heading over from Tahoe on wed. We will be hanging out in the Haight on wednesday night and head to the show thursday. I have been following the setlists throughout the tour and the boys have been putting on some excellent shows. I believe thursdays show will be the highlight of the tour and we will probably be blown away! Expect a mindblowing Terrapin! See ya all there.
Anyone in town for these two Shoreline shows: Go to a Giants game on the three days between....
How 'bout it?
Mon Tue Wed: Nationals
Friday it's da NY Mets.
If ya do go, try to, while you are there, find me and say, "Hi! - I read your post at Dead.net...". I'll be ushering on the right field wall - it's beautiful there and everybody should go to a Giants home game, even if you are not into those teams >baseball>or sports in general.
Check into the promotional "K-Zone" tix on sale for Fridays game for 7 bucks or so.
Whenever Tim Lincecum pitches at home, tickets to his next start are discounted based on the number of strikeouts, or the total number of "Ks" in his previous start. You gotta ask for the K-Zone discount.
S.F. beat L.A. in extras on Sunday - there were lots of "Ks".
I can believe the show they got tonite down at shoreline, after this whats left for those of us going on the 14th? I hope that this was just a warm up, a wait till we pull the rabbit out of the hat show. or was this the rabbit with the full wizzz while and what not.
at the totem pole at 6:30 today!
I dunno. I won't be at that show, but I'd love to see pix of the folks who are.
Anyone know exactly when the doors open and also is there any kind of lot scene expected? I've heard security here is a pain!
Also I've seen a lot of posts about other shows going on in the area and bars to checkout.....this seems to be a not to miss: AT FURTHUR: DAZE BETWEEN at Mission Rock in SF:
The Furthur Bus will be at today's show selling tixs and promoting.....the acid tests live on!!!!!!

I just came in from looking up at the stars in the Bay Area. Sending vibes to all my Heads at the L,A. show. I walked in the house and the wife say's Daves on the phone from the show, Excellent timing Dave!
I lost my little Bro last month. Only 52. I have butterflys in my tummy while I wait for Sunday at Shoreline. It's gonna be real tough. Tears will flow, knots in the tummy, smiles will beam.
So if you see me please understand that I will be dancing with those unseen, all of our friends that have past.
Thanks Boys, for getting together so we could dance together again. After 30 years of this I know where to meet you who have passed.
J.C. Juanis saw me awhile back and said "Doug you're getting to old for this. I told him "As long as the Boys are playin ain't nobody to old."
See you at Shoreline..and the Gorge, Say "Hi" to the crazy dancer, he doesn't bite. Love you all..onward, to the future,,,
Gypsy cowgirl, Canyon Critter, marye, TigerLilly, JackstrawfromColorado, BatcaveJoe, St stephenfrom colorado, erth and all other dead heads count me and my mini tribe to join in on the meet and greet, all of us except the RRrrroooooo dawg, she can get a little crazy with the little yapers (she thinks they are snack's).
