By request of TigerLilly, who got quite the miracle ticket, a place for Shoreline-goers to converge, at least till something more official comes along... That's May 10 and 14, of course.
checked my email this morning and there was a shipment notification, came home from work and there they were! What a perfect ending to a long work day. Now I can REALLY relax knowing I have tix.
Can't wait to see all you beautiful heads there :)

This show will be the end of a 2nd honeymoon in Calgary after 36 years of marriage. My wife has never seen the Dead live. I saw them 1st August 5-6, 1971 at the Hollywood Palladium with NRPS. Great show. See you in a month!
Coming from Oklahoma too.
So Livenation was not very kind to us but I finally got tix... thing is I ended up with an extra one I don't need. It's in the pavillion, section 200 if anyone would like to pick it up.
Traildog
post if you want it otherwise I'll stick it on Craigslist SF and Austin
Does anyone what time the gates open at shoreline? I have heard different times? Not sure. The most recent I heard was 4:30. But The Dead Show parking lots have always opened earlier. However I have not seen them at Shoreline. Only at Oaklnand and The City.
I would highly recommend BART, as the 12th St. station is quite close.
Well, Canyon, I'm glad you share my views on vehicles. A lot of my friends aren't so sure, and as for my family...my HUMAN family that is...
That's the way a vehicle is supposed to be. I laughed at that Marye.
I should have a ride, but BART is the best way to do it. I hope I can get there on Wed. I would love to meet all of you!

Will you come with me? Once in awhile you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right!
Tickets from the outlet (LiveNation) and from mail order have been mailed out. Tickets from the online pre-sale have not been mailed yet. Although I have been reading that the Greensboro pre-sale tickets are starting to arrive so the Shoreline shows should be on the way soon.
"When the smoke has cleared she said, that's what she said to me. You're gonna want a bed to lay your head and a little sympathy"
from GDTSTOO, but I don't know about the online sales.
Just checking to see if anyone as recieved thier Shoreline tix yet (5/10)? Thanks.
Locations
it occurred to me that I was seriously remiss in not mentioning, for the benefit of those spending time in Oakland for the Allmans shows, the fine establishment Baja Taqueria at 41st and Piedmont (just up the hill from Mama's). It belongs to my excellent ex-dentist Jeff Mogalian, has bluegrass jams on Monday nights, and since Jeff is a Deadhead of long standing, a most gratifying collection of art and posters. I rarely stray from the steak tacos or enchilades verdes with cheese, but Jeff is really proud of his fish taco recipe.
I think there's a Deadhead-owned pizza place near the lake, too, but my knowledge is out of date and I need to confirm it.
If you like Vietnamese food, Le Cheval is a few blocks from the Fox and is pretty much a don't-miss. No Deadhead connection that I know of though!
