I am coming for friday only and was on tour from 85 till Jerry died.
I am gonna be there early and I would love to meet you and give you the old-school welcome from a deadhead who lives the peace/love /kindness/open soul/ life.
and if you want to ... my old tour friends and pals make a meeting point scheduall so we can hang out and not leave it to chance( since i hvent seen many since the 2004 dead tour.
2 or 3 times during the day...then outside right before goin in then indside before the show then at ahalf time and then right when the show is done etc!!! if u want i will glady give u a copy
so if you want to see some friendly faces u don't get lost in a sea of tie dies and stangers!

Where's Shakdown at the Philly Spectrum ? Anybody know ? Can't wait for the Philly Dead shows - saw my first Dead show 30 years ago in Philly !!

i flew in from portland to catch the ny and nj shows, im stayin with a friend out in nj i was hoping to find a ride to the spectrum shows. and tickets, i got plenty of cash to contribute to whatever...

Coming in from Texas and never saw a show at the Spectrum. Do they sell beer inside during concerts? How is security, is it too tough to sneak in a flask of red eye?
made it to my first show--Greensboro, but had to cut the trip short and didn't make Charlottesville. I just might have to do a "quick" drive to see the Saturday Spectrum show. fingers crossed that it'll happen, but everyone else have a GRATE time!
Im too young to have seen the Grateful Dead but my first Dead show will be Saturday and im super stoked. Ive heard many bunk doses floating around and real doses being scarce, well see. How is the lot in Philly? Where will shakedown be?
FINALLY going to my very first dead shows on 5/1 and 5/2!! been a fan for over 20 years, but never seemed to meet people who were into them and willing to go to shows with me... decided to just go by myself this time:) i'm heading down to the spectrum early on friday and saturday and would love to meet up with others and do some pre-show partying!! if you don't mind a new friend joining you, please let me know which lot you'll be in and what time:) i am so excited for this weekend!!
