Many thanks to all involved, and vine on! -- Dead.Net Vines - What It Is & How It Works (We're changing some things for 2009) BACKGROUND: The concept of a "vine" is music sharing through conventional means (e.g. mailing cd's or dvd's) with the sign-up list being on-line. The basic idea is that someone starts (seeds) a vine, made up of one or multiple shows,and sends it via mail to the first person who signs up. That person makes a copy for themselves and sends the ORIGINAL media on to the next person on the list. As more people sign up, it continues to grow and grow - hence the name "vine". MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Make sure you can deal with the media format. Many vines are in audio CD format, so the minimum basic requirement is that you are knowledgeable and capable of copying audio CD's. Other vines are in D

Legion of Mary 1971-72 Vine

Here are some Legion of Mary shows from the years 1971-72. This is what is out there at this point in time, I believe. None of these shows are in the Vinedex with the exception of 2/6/72, and I am going to include it for the integrity of this vine. The 5/20 and 9/01 shows sound phenomenal and I am going to include the 24/96 files of these for posterity sake. JSFC I think you do a fine job of helping to keep order here. Also, I personally am stoked for this 78 series. I have PMed for a couple of the mentioned vines and got nuthin!! Thanks Chris and thanks JackStrawFromColorado!!! Your efforts and love of the music are certainly appreciated here in Western PA. Peace All

Actually I started stache's faves

To replace the 6pack vine. Dude don't worry about it, no one is upset. I just thought one of the very few rules here was to not vine stuff that is already vined but it is not a big deal man. Sorry I brought it up. You know, I can tell my time is done here and that is fine too. Over the last couple of years I started vines to fill some gaps in the vinedex. Then I got derailed when I started my quest to re-seed all the lost and dead vines. A totally thankless job and that is fine too. But now a couple of 100 dvds later I guess I lost my patience. Again sorry about that. All I have ever tried to do here is keep the music going and I have ruffled several feathers in the process. What can you do? I was trying to take over where markinthedark left off. I thought he did a great job keeping track of everything but now I can see why he boogied out of here. I'll get off my soapbox now. Love those 11/6-8 auds aka the usher tapes. Anyone know why they're called the usher tapes? I know they were taped from the balcony and maybe the usher's helped get the gear in?!?
