Phil Lesh and Friends - Tour and Show Announcements
Wondering if Phil's bringing his friends to your town? Look here for the latest info from the Phil Zone!
please be careful in Broomfield!!! It's ultra conservative and uptight. Lots of plain clothed narcs inside and out, walking around amongst the crowd. hundreds of arrests last year at further.... please pass this on.... I'm still dealing with my felony charge for less than a gram of shroomz.
I got an e-mail from JK saying he is touring with another band next winter. I don't know if Phil & Friends is touring in the same time frame or not. Maybe this is all side projects while they wait for the Spring tour to come up.
But maybe there will be no Furthur next year. I hope not. But if that is the case I'd like to say to Phil & Bob: Thanks for getting it and Thank You for a real good time.
Plays keys too. We'll have to go run and see =)
I'll be there all 3 nights, can't wait to hear this line up but hope Furthur still has touring plans
Got my tix for Saturday. Can't hit all three, but oh well. Does anyone know who (if anyone) will be on keys? I saw it'll be Russo, Green, Scofield and Haynes but never saw keys listed.
Thanks!
You're right. I cant be at any of those shows so I thank the Gods for Tapers.

The 30 year aniversary of the remarkable Omaha 7-5-78 show, and Phil and Friends absolutely rocked the Sioux City park show.
Umphrey's had a ball, and Phil wandered out into the crowd to check out their sound/show, and then Bodeans treated us to some old school rock and roll.
But Phil and Friends were just tremendous as they glided into the evening with a inspired Friend of the Devil (complete with Larry Campell fiddle) , and the band displayed wonderful chops and the show progressed into delicious 'catch me if you can' jams with Campell and Greene, Molo's volcanic drumming, Molitz punching the keys, and of course delightful Phil propulsive runs. He finished us off with 'Box of Rain' and everyone left smiling.
Thanks Phil, for a real good time!! (see you at 10 K Lakefest)
The day started off crappie for me. My car with some great memories (including a trip to see the Dead at Mountain View) bit the dust - 120,000 + miles. It was like losing a good friend. I loved that car! The night was perfect though, except no Scarlet. I had such a cool time, it was great show! I loved seeing everyone dancing and just having a great time. This memory is a keeper.

Locations
It is suburban Broomfield and not Denver so the cops are less experienced and more "out to get ya" perhaps. But like with anything, trouble will follow you anywhere if you put yourslef into that position.
