Phil in Charlottesville, VA

Hey now,

Just got my ticket for Phil & Friends here in my back yard in Charlottesville, VA. I'm looking forward to it! Have never seen Phil & Friends before, though I've seen Ratdog several times, including twice this summer. Just finished reading "Searching for the Sound" so I'm extra psyched about this show. I'll be attending with my friend Scott who introduced me to the Dead many years ago. Anyway, if anyone else is attending this show let me know. Would love to meet you!

Peace, Preston

Atlanta Echo Project

If you click on Echo Project in Phil Lesh. net tour list, it will take you to a non-live website where you can enter an email for further info when available. The site now says more artists will be announced 7-30 (today, nothing yet) and presales are 7-31. Strange that 7-30 is almost over and nothing yet has been announced. Jambase has an article on Echo reporting that the venue is in Fairburn GA, site of the former Harvest Fest. Supposed to be 60 bands on 4 stages over 3 days, 10-12, 13, 14. I'm bothered by the fact that the organizer is about to fail to meet its own deadline for announcing the lineup. Hoping maybe this fest thing will fall apart and Phil will do the Fox or Lakewood. My first post, a big heynow to ya'll.

What's "The Echo Project"?

I noticed that Phil and the boys will be playing in Atlanta at "The Echo Project" in Atlanta. I didn't find out anything specific about this show online. Does anyone have any insight?

Not that I'm complaining about tickets not going on sale on 7/30 like everyone else. This gives me more time to recouperate from Clapton in Chi Town Saturday.

The Phil show will fit nicely between Clapton and DMB with the Alman Bros in Piedmont Park.

What a long strange summer its turning out to be!

Not to be a moaner, but

Not to be a moaner, but couldn't Phil & Friends, and Ratdog do a trip out to Europe for those of us that are JONESING for some Lovin'? I know that the UK has many great small to medium sized venues that some of those PHil Bombs would sound fanfreakintastic in

Please pass this on to the people that do their bookings.

Long Live the Grateful Dead, and all the spin-offs.

cheers,

Kit
