greetings community - my friend carol has been in the hospital since wednesday. she is on life-support and is only 41 years old. stress has seem to have gotten to her. her body cannot seem to stabilize. they have an icepack on her. several attempts have been made to remove it, but she quickly goes into seizures as her body temp rises. they're now saying they probably won't be doing tests up to one week.

carol is the kind of person that you will never forget about after meeting her. she never knew about the grateful dead until she met me, but quickly realized how important that band has been to so many of our lives.

i am asking my extended family to say a prayer for her. she needs it! take care - chris

it's been a week now. the doctors have provided no answers - family is trying for a new hospital. that's the only new updates i have. she still is on life-support. she went into a seizure again while trying to stabilize her body on monday.

greetings group - it's hard to type this with tears. it's day eight, and she is still hooked up to life-support. she was a little responsive today, but they said she might have damage in her brain stem. she's still in icu. i appreciate everyone's response!. this has hit close to home with her social circle, and we are scared. she really is not the person to deserve this. keep saying your prayers! thank you so much - chris

Most of you probably know that RatDog’s sterling lead guitarist, Mark Karan, is experiencing a health problem and will not be on touring with them for at least the next couple of weeks. Please send Mark positive healing energy and good thoughts . The sound of his guitar has brought me joy and I hope that he will be able to quickly recover and return to good health and the joy of playing.
