Please help me support my sister, and send her a boatload of positive energy and good vibes. She is in dire need of some. Back in March her oldest daughter was killed in a car crash in Oswego, IL, on the way to school. Brandy would have been 18 in 3 days, had a scholarship to study music, was writing poetry, and was a beautiful human being. My sister does not know how to get over this, and I do not know how to help her, other than listen to her. She is in such a bad way that she is severely neglecting her two younger children, and is sliding into a lethargy that is scaring me! She is not finding the strength to live and go on. I am working on laying-out Brandy's poetry into a format for a book for my sister, and will print it out and send it to her when I am done. I would appreciate any tips for finding beautiful and copy-right free art that I could use to enhance this work. I hope that having the highlights of Brandy's poetry in one beautiful place, as opposed to scattered in several notebooks, could be a small treasure for my sister, in her healing process. If there IS a way at all to heal from such a thing, that is. The little book is also the best way I can think of to show her that I care, as am sad each and every day that I am here in Europe, and so far away from her phsyically. my prayers will be sent. i thought of a nice thing for the artwork. why don't you let other heads provide their own art, and you pick what should be displayed without the copy-right stigma. combine the art with poetry as you feel fit within the community. take care - chris

Hadnt posted about this--but I try to recruit prayer ( dont care who ya pray to!) for my 2 year old Miles. Wont get too lengthy, but he has infant scoliosis ( a curved spine) and wears a body brace. Altho we've had a year of this under our belts..were prepping for his next check on the progress ( if any). We dont get new info other than our four month visits...so its wretching from one appt to the other. Send positive thoughts and good chee our way, if ya can... that the suggested surgery does not have to be.
I also want to insist that all parents/grandparents/Aunts etc...PLEASE make sure that the infant toddler in your life is examined for this at checkups. Youd be surprised how often this is NOT done for babies...a quick check can detect this!
