I am really, really glad to hear the "just exactly perfect" news, Tim.

Give your ma' a big hug from all of us.
The Dude Abides!
Nice to hear your mom is doing well.
Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)

Just got word from my little brother letting me know that Dad and Mom just arrived home!
It is unbelievable that 4 days ago she was in the hospital with emergency open heart surgery and now is back at home (Mom sez she wasn't to impressed with the food and such, so she need to get back to where she is comfortable).
Soooo, all those 'wellbeams' and good wishes and comforting words from you all did help 'grately' and I again thank everyone for the kindness & support. It could have been a different outcome (sorry for your loss, gypsy soul, but I do take your advice to heart) and I still am in awe of this all.
A gentle and wonderful outcome can happen.
take care to you and yours. tim
grettings all...gratefulmom let me tell you a story when i first started tour summer 90..i took off without even tellin anyone i was going on tour, because it was so spontaneous, like most things that were on dead tour..so i finally call her from chicago and MOM! guess where im at!..and the first words out of her mouth was ..YOU S.O.B!!! where the #@$%% are you at!!..i say mom im in chicago on tour with the grateful dead ...THE GRATEFUL WHAT!!!??..i say mom im alright im with family..she started cryin of course..only to be at her first show in 93 at rfk..and i say mom see why i didnt call,,jerry and the boys were preparing me for life..anyway gratefulmom ...the moral of the story is we sometimes take journeys that take us many places and the learnin expierence is so intense we get in this kinda bubble and it dosent pop till we come down and realize just where were at..of course i dont know your situation..but the worst thing you can do is worry, instead change the vibe..roll away the dew and KNOW the fourwinds will blow him safely home..and there he will be....and to you tiger..your certainly are having a tryin week..izze said it right..the tears will make you stronger... keep strong sis and write me anytime you need to...and homeband... know that jim is a wizzing ball of energy, wizzing around bouncing off galaxies and stars..probally bumped into jerry wizzing around too:D......sisters and brothers do know that when the storm comes and the wind blows ..roll on at a steady pace..we are family, and were here for each other....mucho love!!....moondrop:D

Life's to short.....
May the four winds blow you safely home
positive vibes travel faster over water... so heading toward your Mom, Tim, accross the Pacifico from the far east. But the recent news sounded real good, removing tubes and stable vitals-- which made me real happy to hear.
The vibes may reach you a bit slower, Tiger Lily, but they will be there waiting for you in Barcelona. Take your kids to the Gaudi Park; it is a really cool place. My old lady and I spent lots of time exploring all of the nooks and crannys in the park, as well as at the Sagrada di familia, and all of his buildings in Barcelona. Cool, cool shit, and awe inspiring.
blackfeather is in the safe 4 winds and flying home as we all will someday.
best to everyone, and positive vibes for all!!
love and peace.
