Good to know you got shoes to wear when you find the floor.
This stuff is great!!
...about 2/12/66:
Watts Acid Test, Youth Opportunities Center, Compton CA
Who Cares Rap, Good Mornin', Li'l Schoolgirl
D. Latvala said this material came from two different 7" reel boxes, the Pigpen rap in an unlabeled one and the other box marked "Longshoreman's Hall #1".
The TC has a sound-by-sound discussion of the tapes, should be able to verify if it's this show/test. Be interesting to compare w/the Acid Test Vine mat'l. The set lists don't match up though, and that "Who cares" lady that was freaking at the Watts test is pretty recognizable, so I wonder if this is 2/12/66.
I'm gonna have to sit down and actually read these compendiums now that I have the time. These things are great!

Thought it was unclejon that started this. Sorry stuman, go ahead and put your name in that last paragraph.
"You know the one thing we need is a left handed monkey wrench....."
ok so im doing some research on these shows. It says on setlist.com that the 3 nights at longhornsmans hall were 4/22, 23, and 24 and they only have an incomplete set list for the first night (Schoolgirl>You dont love me>Schoolgirl) and no setlist at all for the last 2 nights. They are also listed as Trips Festivals.
02/12/66 (Sat) Watts Acid Test @ Youth Opportunities Center - Compton, CA is listed with no setlist at all and it says it was the Watts Acid Test.
University of California - Pauley Ballroom - Berkeley, CA is listed with no for sure date, it says June or July.
So Unclejohn these may be some shows that not alot of people have and we may know more information about them now then just about anyone.
This is awesome, where do you dig this stuff up??
