..not an endorsement, just an acknowledgement.
I frequent the USA Network Forums (It's just people talking about the shows on USA - like "Law & Order" and "Monk") and in a recent post told everyone there that I've been going nude since I was 14. We had excellent outdoor naked parties in California recently and I even went to Black's Beach . . . the local nude beach in San Diego.

There's the link for the post. I guess since it's a TV channel's forum lots of people will eventually learn about my Nature Boy tendencies. Hey - all I can say is that it's really fun to watch TV and do other houshold routines in the buff. Ever since I read, "The Door Into Summer" by Robert A. Heinlein with the hero that accidentally ends up in a nudist colony in the 70s (Sunnydale) . . . the guy was cool and just adapted to the situation and was no pansy. I just thought the idea was interesting in a Zen Buddhist kinda way.
Just thought I'd share that because I think it's very hippie. It's amazing how some people are so inhibited about being nude out in the open . .. when (strictkly speaking) - nudity has nothong to do with sex, drugs, or rock n roll . . . dude. It has to do with getting back to the basics of Nature - which we are incapable of escaping in this life. The forces of Nature surround us and travel through us. We are the voice of the universe . . . second generation star stuff.
It's IS fear - and animals go naked every day. My little kittys who hide under the bed every time there's a thunderstorm go naked everywhere they go . . . they are completely uninhibited. I think if you've never been nude in public it's an obstacle that needs to be overcome . . . and the most religious person CAN do it since (as I said before) . . . nudity has nothing to do with sex, drugs, or rock n roll.
You can always wear a fig leaf if you're a White Christian. If you're Black you can wear an African loin cloth. Are we all really THAT ashamed of our anticedents? I like to think that my great-great X 10 grandpa knew what he was doing - he was just limited by the then-present technology.
Whatever. Technology kills.

Hmm, not a lot of folks on here lately it seems. I am glad to see a rainbow forum here, it just feels right. So I guess now there is the topic of New Mexico. Anyone remember the last time we were there? 94 I think? The locals were not too happy. Hopefully we can make up for that this time. Also, anyone have any idea what is up with the "A Gathering of the Tribes" gathering which has been taking place at the same time as nationals for the past 5 years or so? Its obviously family, so I wounder why the split. I mean there have been splits before, in the 90's, like in 93 with the whole Alabama/Kentucky thing. Then there was Zeus! Any one remember him? He really threw some folks through a loop, with "his" gatherings, changing all the road signs and rock piles, leading folks right to his site. One time it was on the sheriffs land! Oh well, love to everyone, no judgment here. But now we have a recurring gathering July 1-7 with the silent circle and everything, in like Missouri or something. It is said that the "A Gathering of the Tribes" was created to "preserve the traditions of the Rainbow Family of Living Light." Now I have not been home in a while, have things gotten that bad? And what happened to all the regionals we used to have in the early 90s. I remember being on trail and going from gathering to gathering, catching tour, then to a gathering, and another gathering. I mean I only came out of the woods for shows, that was pretty much it. I know of a few kind annual regionals that still go on, like Katuha and Cumberland, but those folks certainly don't advertise. I wonder if there are more? I'm not into the blown up scenes like Ocala, which I heard is not even a rainbow gathering anymore, officially speaking anyway. I went to Shawnee back in 2000, that was a bad seen man. Gathering on Native burial ground, people walking around with bones, no vegan food, and a "Jesus Loves You" kitchen interrupting circles with their foul repetitive chanting of the name "Jesus" over and over. It was a non-focalized, non-rainbow gathering. But for every bad one, there are many more good, and much love is needed everywhere, so I was happy to shine my light, even at the men in black with night-vision goggles, who were creeping through the woods taking pictures. Anyway, thats my rant. I love you all and can't wait to get home. See ya all soon. Peace.
never went to ocala forest gathering but went to the autum councle and that was pretty cool! my friend saved a baby that fell in the little spring while we were passin da feather. alota ood carma.
I'm really looking forward to the total eclipse of the sun on August 17, 2017, it will be crossing the whole U.S. Something to look forward to. Should be some good gatherings for that one!
Shaking in the garden, the fear within you grows
Hear there may be roses to punch you in the nose
Twist their arms around you, slap you till you cry
Wrap you in their sweet perfume and love you till I die
When push comes to shove
You're afraid of love
