Grateful Dead
They get better and better every year. Ft. Meyers was wild. It was a small theater and they let everyone out to smoke cigs at the break, after a smokin' Hell in a Bucket, and the parking lot lit up, then we walked back in for the second set and no one was checking tickets at the door. That just doesn't happen. After, we saw Jeff (keyboards) coming out a door and he was cool and talked to us for a second.
After the Boca show, (Box of Rain encore) the field of balloons and smiling faces was unbelievable. There were more balloons than Disney World. It was wild.
See 'ya next year.

I can't get tired of the Satellite Dead Channel, as much as I may try.
The Florida run was amazing!!!
Listen to the Ft. Myers, Fl show 2nd set. 15 Ratdog shows and this one had my hair standing on end and I confirmed with many Boneheads the next night at Boca Raton that it was a special set.
Listen to the Dead channel on satellite radio as much as possible...doc's orders!
For the record, I thought the set list, and performance at The National was great. I bought the CD at the show, and have listened to it relentlessly.
GO RATDOG!
My dismay at finding out they would not return to Richmond in '09 was matched only by the degree of delight in knowing I'll have opportunity to catch Bobby and the rest of the gang on The Dead tour. I can't wait.
See ya' there.
Anyone going??
Listened to it ny day on sirius, they must have had a good time, but on the radio I was goin what the f---? bobby and the dog finally gettin their shit together and now another Dead tour to remind us just how much we miss Jerry, the Dog should fire his ass. I think they need some new advisors. sorry, but that's how I see it, the old fart that I am.
Panic did Cream Puff War for an encore....
