Ratdog's Live Broadcast on Sirius The Grateful Dead Channel 8/31

I had the treat of listening to this show, Live Upstate,Ny in the comfort of my own living room, from Sirius Sattelite Radio. I always have The Sirius Grateful Dead Channel on, :) so I didnt miss the early start. I was pleasantly surprised to heard a crowd milling about, at around 9:30pm. I was expecting the Broadcast to start at 10PM Est. Right into a beautiful-vocally strong: Here Comes Sunshine ( Wake of the Flood ) and Bob Weir and Ratdog were off and running, straight into Easy Answers and then Queen Jane. What a strong 1-2- 3,the mix and acoustics on the Broadcast were fantatstic quality, so clear a strong mix, no white noise.Great to hear sound like this on the radio. To our suprise Lazy River Rd. and a rockin Jack Straw were next, Kenny Jeff Mark, just sounded wonderful in this mix and again the vocals were very strong with right- on harmonies. At this point I was dancing around my cluttered living room, barefoot, imagining what the Botanical Gardens look like.:)The drums and solos from - Jay and Robin were tight and uplifting, this show was really elevating and strong. More surprises- very well done The Weight, Pretty Peggy Oh ! and Terrapin, Lady with a Fan just tight and strong again, really fun ! The Stuff and jam was rockin, more dancing accross America in Garages cars and living rooms Im sure ! hee hee and then A Beautiful: Standing On The Moon, ( straight from Terrapin ) Johhny B. Goode too with Ripple for the 'icing on the cake' encore !I Was on the phone with some Ratdog.org -ers' and Dead.net ers' we all agreed this one could be a Ratdog's Greatest hits CD, we were ready to hear it again as soon as it ended, Quality- just a clear strong uplifting show ! all the way through Thank YOU ! Ratdoggies and Sirius. Rebroadcast today at 12 noon :) woo hoo !

Denver

Turned on my radio at 6:52 and the show was already underway, missed HCS but heard it this morning. It was their 9th show in 11 days and and I think they're pushing themselves too much. I hope they get back home soon and get some rest. I'm glad I got to see the first two shows of the tour.

Positive vibes for Ratdog

I hope everybody who reads this will take a second and send out a healthy dose of love and good vibes to Bobby, Jay, Jeff, Kenny, Mark, and Robyn for their show tonight, and for the rest of the tour, Ratdog's the BEST!

Man I can't wait

For the Colorado shows! What a weekend - We just caught YMSB at RR last night (they busted out a rockin New Speedway Boogie) and are catching CSN at RR next Tues night. I'm looking forward to Bobby the most, right in the heart of Boulder and then at the botanic gardens broadcast on XM radio, Mark Karan's 650th show??!! Yes!!! The concert scene this year has been un-real!!

the shows./..

the shows started at 7 P.M., and I didn't get to see Jackie except when he came on with Ratdog cause I was waiting for it to get cool enough to leave my dog in the car but I don't think he played all that long.

I don't see how they

Could squeeze a 2 1/2 hour show in before 10:30 with Jackie playing too...

The show in Boulder starts at 8 with Jackie opening. I'm just doing the math here and if there is a curfew at that show RatDog won't even get 2 hours in!

Fla Ratdog

Unfortunely Ratdog will not be touring FLA this year, Bobby is getting ready for a Further tour. Had a blast the last two years down in FLA, maybe we will get a spring fla tour!!

By the way, Ratdog rocked the past three shows in the northwest, Eugene being my fav!!

actually, they might have played closer to 2 and a half hours straight. They packed as much music as they could into that time and didn't even bother to go off to come on again for an encore. I was up front for the whole shows both nights and my body was pretty rocked out by the sound systems by the time they were done each night.
