Welcome To Oregon Bob Weir & Ratdog !

Have a great tour! Hey can I leave my dog on one of your air-conditioned tour buses during the Jacksonville show? She just turned 16 and has been going to shows since she was one. Oh well, I'm hoping that by 8:30 or 9 it will be cool enough to leave her in the car. Should be much cooler in Eugene. We won't leave the coast till late afternoon and will drive back some of the way after the show, then back home, work for an hour and drive 4 hours to Eugene. I must be crazy, but I love good music!

I agree rosa!

My wife and I are already making some plans. I'm feeling really good about it. Especially since at the end of the Rothbury show Phil says ... something along the line of ... "They hope to be back there next year and they hope everyone comes back to see them" besides it'll be perfect for a 45 year anniversary!!

3 more weeks before RatDog hits my neck of the woods!! Can't wait!!

Speculation . . .

I'm really optimistic about the Dead doing a Spring 2010 tour. I think this fall is unlikely. But I'm certainly hoping Ratdog adds some shows in my neck of the woods this fall. That would hold me over nicely!

I'm not even going to speculate on that one. I don't have any inside knowledge, and I've certainly guessed wrong a zillion times over the years. I entirely agree with your viewpoint however!

Mayre, what's your feeling?

What's your feeling? How long will The Dead play?

It would be tragic for them to leave e stage anytime soon. Garcia said they'd play until, "they came and took us away". I want to bring my children 9 and 6 currently, some day.

What's your feel?

I'll cry if I can't bring them some day.

well, depends again

I only come to the RatDog forum, there's too many topics here, for me. It makes my head spin. In direct proportion to the Rolling Rock, just kidding.

I was in Worcester this spring at the 4/18 show with a first date and she asked, "Do you think Garcia (she probably said Jerry, only us, the esoteric refer to him by his proper moniker) is here?" I said, "He can be anywhere in the universe, he could taking in a supernova or black hole, the birth of a new solar system, why would he be in Worcester on a Saturday night?" She asked the question every which way until Sunday until I agreed he was there one way or the other.

He has a lot to do with the RatDog repertoire now.

well

that probably depends on whether you're talking literally or metaphysically! But I do not think he ever had anything directly to do with RatDog.

Garcia

Garcia's dead. He's out of the band.

Am I wrong?
