the Big Wu

great band from Minnesota, eh. i'm from the South Jersey/Philly area, but have always loved the Wu. though on a short hiatus, they should be back one day. i'm now in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, and love all of the smaller local bands, like the Heavy Cats and Goldhill , and, of course, the bigger ones, like SCI, LoS, the Motet, etc...Anyone in the area that wants to play some music, trade some music, see some music, talk music, let me know! peace.

HAhahaaa.....nah, I am just messin' around - I'm almost 40, but that's no biggie. We've never played Row Jimmy...but I played a LONG time ago....(near 15 years, probably!)

Well, thank you very much, Gigi!!!

Glad you enjoy it! Best thing you can do for us is to turn as many of your friends onto that link (and our website's link) as possible!!! Maybe we'll get 'an offer we can't refuse' from NJ someday...hehe. Typically we don't travel (we're all old & have jobs) unless the money is just too good to turn down....in which case, we're insta-whores!

;)

It does say "Local and otherwise!" We're a Pittsburgh Jam Band and we do some good ol' GD, as well as Beatles, Phish, Dylan, Originals and a bunch more. Our website is www.theCAUSEjams.com and we have streaming audio of some stuff from recent live shows. We're a bunch of old dudes & gals who simply love the jam. The tightness of a song, as well as the loose improv feel. Sound like anyone you may know? ;)

Here's a link to our most recent show - full live version available for listen or download:

Hope ya like it!
