The "Aha" post was made before the "This is weird" post.
I give up.
The above posts that mention a three hour difference between the time they were created and the time stamp on the post now only show a two hour difference - the time stamp has changed.
I went back and looked at the original post that started me on this trail and the time stamp on it has changed too. It used to say 11:50 a.m. now it it says 12:50 p.m.
I'm not sure if the zipcode thing ishaving a consistent effect on the time stamps but it is definately weird that the time stamps are changing on previous posts.
I am becoming convinced that the order sequencing issue has to do with improper time stamps on the posts, but have no explanation for why the time stamps would change on previous posts.
I am also becoming convinced that I have way too much free time on my hands.
Good luck solving this problem. I'm going to go try and find a life now. There HAS to be better things to do with my time.
Peace,
Richard
Now that I don't have my location and zipcode in my profile the time stamp on my posts is LT (Local Time) minus 1.5 hours. When I had the zipcode in my profile, the time stamp was LT minus 3 hours.
Case in point, local time (central time zone) is now 1:15 a.m. Look at the time stamp on this post.

Oh well.
We'll try again tomorrow. Some systems only update once evry 24 hours.
I have removed location and zip code from my profile, let's see if this affects the time stamp.
On that last post, the time on my computer showed 8:01 p.m. (central time zone).
In my post, first sentence where it says "11:50 p.m." should read 11:50 a.m. (Three hours earlier than the actual 2:50 p.m. post time).
let's see if that does the trick!y
I think Richard is on the right track about this posting issue. What he said about the time zones and using area codes makes sense to me. But what do I know!!!!

And the "Aaaargh" post was made after the "This is weird" post. Now it is between them.
Albert Einstein was right - Time is relative (and apparently variable)
