the train came by and I got on it's when it all began

More Festival Express for sure would be very cool. Of all the musicians, not just GD, seems that everyone was in very high spirits. I want to party with these folks some more.

actually, badger...

I think I'm going to leave the duplicate up for a bit so the technical folks can look at it. I've seen a gazillion duplicate posts here, but never two hours apart with two intervening posts. That's even weirder than usual!

I know this is a longshot, but...

I'd love to see a fat bounty offered for the missing Festival Express reels, because the movie, fabulous as it is, is made from about a third, tops, of what was originally shot. Including, evidently, the reels the camera guy's kids used for hockey pucks. It would sure be swell to see the rest of it, "children of Calgary" and all...

No problem...

I'll just nuke the duplicate. We've been seeing a lot of this lately.

1981-03-28 all on Video

This tasty show from Germany was broadcast in its entirety live on TV and radio in Europe. You can find good copies on various torrent sites.. but why not an official release..its all there and I presume German TV has the tapes neatly filed somewhere!

7/2/89 Sullivan Stadium

Just in case the number of requests are a factor. When it comes out if you could try and include a full shot of the decorative tapestries that covered the scaffolding and stage that would be cool too. When we walked into Rich Stadium that year our mouths were all hanging open...that face was freaking us out!!!

Turn Up the Sunshine

I've seen a couple of different versions of Sunshine Daydream and I can understand why the band chose not to release it (at the time). My personal opinion is that when Jerry saw the guy losing his mind over his shoulder during Dark Star he felt the cause and effect was a bit too vivid for theatres. That said, I would love to see it officially released and would hope that they kept all the Prankster animation and overall documentary feel.

Sunshine Daydream

is a great film, there is a new version in circulation now with an added beginning

It would be good to see an official version
