In Search of... Stuff
Hats, t-shirts, photos, and other objects whose absence is causing a void in your life. Note: if you're looking for tapes, go to the Tape Trading topic. If you're looking for tickets, try Tickets Wanted. This topic is for stuff that is not tunes or tix.
As I understand it, somewhere around 1985, Jerry Garcia decided a Grateful Dead snowboard would be a great idea. A graphics company was commissioned to design one, and my late wife Sue Hill, a GD staffer in those days, was the point of contact.
Sooz never mentioned whether the thing ever went into production, but the prototype of Jerry's snowboard is still here in the basement. Can anyone tell me any more about the history of this project? It needs to find a good home.
A few pictures:
(This photo is not out of focus, it's actually broken up like that on the prototype)

Hey, anyone out there? Can anyone help? I have shows to trade as well as shirts. Would really love to find the Spain steal your face shirt.
Did you ever get it?
Wow. $500? $1000? That's insane. I would pay $75 and throw in my extra USA world cup steal your face t-shirt. If anyone wants to help, HELP.
I think you're starting to scare the children here...
Spain World Cup Stealie, large, brandy new, about to go up on auction @ EBay. Minimum bid is $500. Let me know if you're interested in the specifics. There will be another auction for the same t-shirt in medium shortly following. Again, minimum bid is $500. I expect that these shirts will go for about 1k each at the final ding.
Hey, I have kicked myself for years now because I didn't get the World Cup Spain Steal Your Face t-shirt. I did get an extra USA World Cup SYF t-shirt for my birthday (I had already purchased one). If anyone would like to trade a L USA for a M or L Spain, or would have a Spain either new or gently used for sale, please let me know. You can email me at email@example.com.
This has become something of an obsession with me and I search the thousands of ebay items every couple of months. Please help if you can. DA
