Standing on the Moon...
...is an excellent Hunter tune that I wish the boys had taken up at some point.
(Glad you're feeling better Musky)
I find myself living in a rural area where nobody cares much about me or what I think. To manage the gap between what I know by teachings and what I experience everyday, and to interact with local hillwilliams, well, I can't do it. It is NOT working. I refuse to abandon lessons learned, and the more I take my stance the more locals drift away from me. Isolated, reclusive, unhappy and hoping for more from life, that's me right now.
I think this is one of Jerry`s finest ballads, played with true emotion.Did you know that Jerry,at the last minute, switched this song onto the album,"Built To Last,"in place of the song,"Believe It,Or Not!"....I think both would have fit on the record personally!!
Hi!
I am working on research for a film about DIY music venues, and in the process have stumbled across accounts of the Dead's 1967 "Great Northern Tour." I have read that this was one of the first instances of a major band financing an entire tour themselves. I do not know much more than this, or am I very knowledgeable about the Dead but I thought someone here might be able to answer some questions and shed some light on the history. Is there a board member I should talk to in particular? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Direct message me with any and all insights.
THANK YOU
-Sam
... a lovely view of heaven.
Wish I had a view of heaven! These days I come home from work and put on the "soundscapes" new age channel on my home theatre just to relax. Wondering where those carefree touring days have gone. Even the summer just gone by seems long ago.
~But I'd rather be with you, be with you.~
