Folks, the Store is about to open. That's the good news.
Here's the bad news. In order to use it, you will temporarily need to create another ID.
When you do, please be sure to use the same email address for your User (the one you're using here) and Store accounts. That's because we'll be merging the two universes later, and when we do we want to avoid those pesky identity crises.
If you don't need to shop right now, you might want to just chill and await developments for a few days. But if you do, that's the process.
Note also that the Store's inventory is a bit sparse at present, but will soon be a good deal less so.

Dear Mary, haven't had any troubles with orders sent to Germany, thank you very much. Just one small point from one of my last orders that took me a day off work: Since the invoice was only inside the package and the customs officers don't open the package it couldn't be processed further. I had to go to the customs office myself to open it for them. So please remember the shop staff to take good care to always affix the invoice or a complete customs declaration to the outside of the package. Then the postal service can arrange custom matters. Thank you for your help.

Placed an order for 4 shirts on 2/17, emailed on 2/20 after not receiving any communication about order and noticing that in that time one of the shirts had become backordered during the delay, asked for backordered shirt to be removed from order. Called on 2/22 and gentleman said he would ship 3 shirts and then ship last shirt that was backordered when it came in and would not charge for shipping on that item and would send email confirmation.
Never received shirts or a single response to my email or promised emails. Now, 9 days later other shirts in the order are backordered and customer service rep I spoke to via phone today didn't have a clue about what was going on, but saw my previous phone call notes and didn't seem to have an idea of how to help the situation .... so I cancelled the order. Thinking about making a simple t shirt purchase from GD store? Good luck with that! :)
I just noticed there are 2 entries for "What a Long Strange Trip It's Been" in the store, one titled "What A Long Strange Trip It's Been CD" for $19.98 and one titled "What A Long Strange Trip It's Been - The Best Of The Grateful Dead" for $11.99. Both are sold out, but I found it odd there are 2 entries for the same item. Just thought I'd point it out.

Haven't been to the site for a couple weeks, and I come back, and bang! Nearly all the music from the store is gone? Just a couple Road Trips and Europe '72 releases? Just a glitch or what? No Jerry? Virtually no GD releases?
