I know how ya feel. Heck, I don't even have my car anymore. I'm just walkin around with my walkman. I've been looking for people to trade tapes with also. I have about 170 GD shows on tape and cd. If you would be interested in some trades I could put whatever onto tapes for you? Let me know. Rock on.

I've got a raft of tapes but no way to copy 'em any more. I got a used D6 off of ebay just so I could play 'em and put 'em into iTunes, but I haven't gotten around to it.
And I'm completely mystified by how all this is done on the net, like downloading entire (noncommercial) shows and stuff. I look at the sites, find the show I want sometimes, and then my brain glazes over. Maybe when the dust settles we can have a Downloading for Old School Folks tutorial topic. The commercial sites I understand fine; the trading sites are over my head completely.
i need someone to help me get started, i've tried to make tape trades for some CD's so i had a few to bargain with, but i gave up after no takers, haha, I don't mind my tapes ;) plus i dont have a cd player in my car where i listen to alot of my music, well guess i can plug my cd walkman into the tape deck with one them adapter things, one these days maybe i'll catch up with the times i guess
why's that, OceanRiver? why not make the switch?
