Are you having this problem with the upload photo function for the photo (of yourself, usually) that appears on your profile, or with the Upload Fan Photo function?

this electronic stuff has some weird powers,could not join the deadnet at any cost.first some weird alien was grinning at me and than google said that they never heard of something like the deadnet......but at least the shop was working,so i could order myself a cup for the tea,to calm down......peace and understanding(to PCs too!!)P.S.but what happened anyway,if its explainable.thanks

I just went and looked at my own page and it has the same thing. I'll still send you a PM, but in case anyone else is wondering also, I think this is what's going on:

On someone else's page, you can either send them a message or block messages from them. That's what the two links are for.

Now I just checked on my own page, and, as makes perfect sense, there's no link to send messages to myself. On the other hand the Block Messages link is for blocking messages from myself, which does seem a little silly. I will seek technical enlightenment on this point.
