By request, a topic for discussing the TV series in which the Avon lady also sells...well, you know.

Bourdain's No reservations in Patagonia

Not sure when this episode first aired but saw it tonight for the first time. Many references to the Grateful Dead and other related activities. Bourdain says the further you go to that last point on the line, there you will always find a few hippies. Patagonia does remind me of Big Sur and makes me wish I could build an oversized yurt there to retire to. I always wanted to be one of those hippies at the end of the line. On second thought, I'd probably go blind staring at the sun.

Great show

But I think I liked it better when Nancy WAS the neighborhood soccer mom pot dealer. Now that the neighborhood's gone and Nancy is pregnant and the drug kingpin's kept woman (I'm just a couple of episodes behind), I think that the show is dangerously close to jumping the shark. In a show that's off-the-wall as scripted TV gets, Kevin Nealon is definitely the wackiest of the wacky.
