Grateful Dead

Just like your favorite jam, things are going to get a bit funky on over the next week or so. Community accounts will be temporarily closed October 16th-17th and may be under further maintenance through October 22nd. But rest assured, we will be back up and better than ever shortly thereafter. Stay tuned! Thanks!

I feel welcomed here

I am glad this is here. It is good to be back. I am starting things over in my life and being at this sight is part of my new beginning. Kind of like Spring Tour. LOL I wonder what I'll be opening with. Probably some Spanish Jam right into Good times Roll!! Thanks to you kind folks with which I have already communicated and looking foreward to more.

two possibilities exist here: a pic to appear on your profile (and, as a result, your posts), and fan pix, which have their own area. The first is something you do when setting up your profile, and if you click the Edit tab and follow the instructions it should be relatively straightforward.

For uploading fan pix, click Submit Content, then Fan Photo, and it should be fairly clear what to do.

If this makes no sense or you run into difficulty, send me a PM.

About Posting a photo on my account.

Hi! This is Paullio.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to post a picture to an account. I
have some great photos of Ratdog playing in 2006 at Hampton Beach
Casino Ballroom.
I was thinking about calling it, "You know it's going to get stranger",
because it is such a psychadellic photo.
Any hints about how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Guess what?

No. What Lever?
That's what I was thinking I'll just pull each one until I find the one that works.

we will all be together....

....forever and ever when we make it to the Promised Land! Is this the place? I feel hopeful that i may find some of my long lost tour brothers and sisters here. Been a long time and I have lost touch with many of them. I spent 90 to 93 on tour with my love, "brother man" Joe, kind, diplomatic man. I could be seen with a skatebpard and kind beers, dollar beers, Joe and I made beautiful dyes..... I fell in love and we were inseparable, 12 years & 3 kids later he left this earthly life at the very young age of 32. If this sounds familiar, hit me up and Ill fill you in

hi everyone

I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a big fan of the Dead, though I am a late comer due to my age. I am currently in grad school working on oral histories of Dead tapers. If anyone would like to talk to me about their experiences - taping or otherwise - I would love to listen! Also, I am looking for old cassette tapes. I know that digital is the wave of the future but I am just starting and would prefer actual tapes. Thank you for this site. And thank you to the both the band for the music and the community for the love. Sincerely, Magnolia.
