There are 3 joys of life to me, one of them being the Grateful Dead.
This site is interesting but if the remaining members never play together again as the Dead, what does this site do.
I can go on a number of coverband sites and get the same info, but the difference is, there are tours and shows with those bands.
Every member has his own site and I think most people come to this site in hope that these guys will get together again as the Dead. If not, then so what.
If there is a "Dead Family", (which i have experienced before), then let's get everybody together for some shows.
If not I see the Dead as Dead.
This site is interesting and possibly fun.
Robert Hunter, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, and the rest are not a "Dead Family" anymore, so i see through this illusion and am pretty dissapointed.
Any body see what im saying.

heathaafeathaa im new to this new site, its pretty cool, great job i can understand theirs lots of bugs to get out, their are mostly old post in all catagories. grateful to seewharfrats...
I'm new here, but it feels pretty hospitable. Something's been driving me nuts tonight and I was hoping someone could help me out. It'll probably come to me in the middle of the night but I have been trying to figure out the tease that is on the last 30 seconds of the "Ripple" on Ladies and Gentleman, The Grateful Dead (Fillmore East, April 1971). If anyone can tell me what the tune is that I can't quite get my ears around, I'd appreciate it. It's just after "Ripple" before they transition into "Me & Bobby McGee".
strikes again. I MEANT to reply to Ann's post, but nooooo....
You'll probably have better luck if you post this in the In Search Of... topic. Which I see you have already done, so I'm saying this mainly as a signpost to future posters. Thanks! Meanwhile, I'll ask a friend who also worked in Merchandising and see if she knows.
