I'm new here, but it feels pretty hospitable. Something's been driving me nuts tonight and I was hoping someone could help me out. It'll probably come to me in the middle of the night but I have been trying to figure out the tease that is on the last 30 seconds of the "Ripple" on Ladies and Gentleman, The Grateful Dead (Fillmore East, April 1971). If anyone can tell me what the tune is that I can't quite get my ears around, I'd appreciate it. It's just after "Ripple" before they transition into "Me & Bobby McGee".
strikes again. I MEANT to reply to Ann's post, but nooooo....
You'll probably have better luck if you post this in the In Search Of... topic. Which I see you have already done, so I'm saying this mainly as a signpost to future posters. Thanks! Meanwhile, I'll ask a friend who also worked in Merchandising and see if she knows.
Does anyone know how I can get a hold of either of them? Stacey worked in Merchandising in Novato and her mom Diane did the fan mail for GDP. Thanks in advance.
so glad you made it! Make yourself at home!
I made it!!!!! I have been looking around since the old site went down, and FINALLY I'm back.:D I hope to have lots of fun and take a few "trips" down memory lane.
Hope to make some new friends and maybe find some old ones too.
It's nice to know that so many of "us" are still out here and cool as ever. Thanks for all the notes of welcome! I'm putting my feet on your coffee table and settling in! Sunshine Daydreams!

I'm very happy to have found this site, especially being an ex-pat deadhead it is a great way to meet fellow heads who either live abroad or happen to be travelling through. After only a day I've already met a few people who I may get a chance to meet in Copenhagen. Thanks for all the hard work putting up this site and keeping it growing.
i am actually new to dead.net, so this new site looks wonderful to me, but the comparison is new. i would really like to participate in this community, give my thoughts and insights into related topics about the music and the current live shows. i know this is going to be a wonderful place to come to online. I am looking forward to getting to know some of y'all.
f I had the world to give, i would give it to you, and i do
...shall we go, you and I while we can...
I'll do that Marye, should I find it. You seem like your being very patient with all this stuff, I hope people appreciate it.
