Still more 10 Days

Counting down the last 10 work days to Christmas (counting up, actually) -- with a week-and-a-day off to follow!

Day 4
Elizabeth Cook -- Welder (from 2010, actually)
Great American Taxi -- Paradise Lost

Day 3
Gary Clark, Jr -- Bright Lights EP
Alison Krauss and Union Station -- Paper Airplane

Day 2
North Mississippi Allstars -- Keys to the Kingdom
Dave Alvin -- Eleven Eleven

Day 1
John Hiatt -- Dirty Jeans and Mudslide Hymns
The Decemberists -- The King is Dead

Listening through my favorite 2011 releases, new studio album category. In no specific order, so this isn't really a countdown to #1. Well, maybe a little bit. We'll see how that works out, as there is no real plan here...or shall I say, the plan is still evolving.

30 Days of the Dead seemed to fly by...these 10 days, not so much.

Live In Session On MBE - KCRW FM 2011

Originally aired Friday February 25, 2011 in Santa Monica, California. Funny interviews and lots of great singing. One of the best versions of Someone Like You that I have ever heard.

We'll see how evolved it gets. I'm doing a grab as I head out the door each morning from the stack that I set aside for this...and I just realized that I have too many albums in the stack for the time that I've allotted. Time for some editing...

and more from St Paul, Minnesota from 5/11/77, compliments of XM Sirius' mid day concert on the Grateful Dead channel. Nice reverb sound from the May '77 shows.
