One of the best rock performers, ever: Rod Stewert. He's up there with Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones and Little Feat when it comes to live high energy rock n roll. Anyone have a recording of Little Feat from Boulder in 1976? Pablo Cruise openned the show at Macky Auditorium.
I wanted to post this comment today because I will be on the road tomorrow heading to the Crestone Music Festival- a small, but sweet wknd. nestled in the Sangre de Cristos of Colorado near the Great Sand Dunes National Monument. My close friends from Taos are headlining tomorrow night and will be paying hommage to Jerry's B-day. Nathan, the drummer just set me a rough rehearsal recording of their cover of Terrapin Station. They played it live once before, this past spring, for the anniversary of the death of a mutual friend. Keep in mind, this is unmixed. It is a simple band rehearsal recording they made while practicing for this upcoming festival. I thought everyone might enjoy hearing it. Plus, it gives them a little exposure. Everyone have a great day tomorow!!
