Sunny and cool in KC

Making dvds, wrapping presents, and packin' boxes, so I'm spinnin' some Steve Miller "Kow Kow", "Space Cowboy" and "Time keeps on slippin, slippin,..into the future" . To think he and I are Chi Psi fraternity alums is mindboggling. I did get a degree, somehow....
Digging more oldies out..."Easy to be Hard" and "Joy to the World", from Three Dog Night (need 3 dogs to keep warm at night, lately, in Kansas).
Buzzing into "St Stephen" @ Boston, 6/9/76: "...1 man gathers what another man spills..."

Off to the post office after I scare the squirrels away from the bird feeders...

The Rain Song

Today am going to listen to as many "rain" songs I can find, starting with "Looks Like Rain" from Weir's '72 album "ACE". Need something to keep me feeling dry and cozy on this cold + rainy day in NY! Also,as usual I'll put on "Cats", as I do everyday, and give Donna's "Rain" a few listens. Love that one. So, ".........here comes the rain!!!"

Give the world the best that you have
and the best will come back to you
