Led Zep: 'hey hey What can I do' and 'Your time is gonna come'. I love those two songs.
I spend a lot of time knocking out cd compilations for friends / family and work mates. One theme I have is original song version followed by a GOOD cover version of the original. One song that I can't get out of my head at the moment is MAY THIS BE LOVE. Originally recorded by Jimi Hendrix on the 1967 album Are You Experienced. The cover I'm using of this is by Emmylou Harris from her album Wrecking Ball. I have hours of this stuff saved on disc over hundreds of tracks. Any ideas folks? I'm always open to ideas of covers that I may have missed out on.

A nice way to start the day.
If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.

Allman Brothers Band ~ An Evening With The Allman Brothers: 1st Set 12/91
It's amazing how fast our lives go by,
like the flash of the lightning or the blink of an eye.
We all fall in love, and we fall into life,
we look for the truth on the edge of a knife.
Heavens turn around the river still flows,
spirit keeps going, nobody knows.
This one is for you grdead73

Sugar Mountain - Live At Canterbury House 11/09-10/68 (Performance Archive Series)
Solo acoustic guitar and sweet vocals.
"Where does the time go?"
There's only one AUD on archive, and it's pretty awful. Sounds like it was taped on a handheld, like a walkman or something. Just finished the first set, and still no evidence of Daffy Duck yet...
Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.
