I saw this same band lineup on 9/24/77 at the Fieldhouse in Iowa City. Was in the center in about the 9th row.

Line-up 5d
September, 1977-February, 1978

Frank Zappa guitar, vocals
Terry Bozzio drums, vocals
Adrian Belew guitar, vocals
Ed Mann percussion
Tommy Mars keyboards, vocals
Patrick O'Hearn bass
Peter Wolf keyboards

I never had known who the band members were for this gig at the time, but just recalled that there was an amazing young guitar player as well as Zappa.. I researched and came up with this line-up. So it was Adrian Belew that had blown me away. Was later to listen to his stuff with King Crimson, Talking Heads and knew all about him, but never knew until a couple of years ago that it was him that I saw in the fall of '77.

Am going to see Zappa Plays Zappa on Nov. 29th here and have excellent seats for this one too.
