Also just listened to Dave's music - nice tributes. Tall Tale reminds me of Let Me Sing Your Blues Away, a Keith Godchaux song from early 70s.
Right now listening to a band called Blue Line Highway that I think Heads would like. Folk rock, with nice extended guitar jams.
Last Grateful Dead-type thing listened to: the original Shining Star by the Manhattans. Listen closely to hear how beautifully produced it is.
"Got a few wrinkles but that's OK, hang out in the breeze and they'll blow away"
I am over looking the Niger River listening to Scarlett Fire from the Knick 1995. This show was one of those shows where you are elevated to another level. I recall wearing the same colored shirt as Jerry that night and after having a rough time during the set break i ended up somehow 2 rows in front of Jerry. That was the closest to the band that i have ever been. My Mom brought me to the Utica Aud show in 81 and told me that i was on her shoulders in the front, but i do not recall. Anyway thats were i am and what i am listening to.

"From day to day, just lettin' it ride,
You get so far away from how it feels inside,
You can't let go, 'cause you're afraid to fall,
But the day may come when you can't feel at all."
...Terrapin Station, Landover MD 3/15/90. What a great rock & roll document!
Peace.
