thanks, Katrinka!

I've been opening up the charity topics when the charities themselves have requested it (most of them also have links on the Family pages), and I would be more than delighted to start topics for these folks as well, if they wanted it. My concern is opening one up that the actual folks never visit, so I wait for them to ask.

I'd also be happy to pursue it with them if you've got a contact at Seva I should talk to. Or, for that matter, Furthur, Planet Drum, etc. I do know a guy at Unborken Chain and I'm talking to him.

Thanks!

Take a big step back!

...shall we go, you and I while we can...

So I read all these really critical posts about no forum topics in the new site. It reminded me that there are essentially two kinds of "Deadheads". First, you got your folks who'll wait in line for three days to get a ticket or get into a general admission venue. Then, you got your folks who crash the gates or elbow thier way to the front of the crowd during the show. The difference is PATIENCE and TOLERANCE!

Leave if you want to, but here's a thought...try letting these folks work out some of these issues before you bail...it might be worth your while!

Izzie,
Thanks for starting the book topics and making the subject more visible. How about making the Robert Hunter area a little more visible? For his birthday.

I'm sorry it's making you want to leave, Zoomabooma. If there is something you want to talk about that you don't see a space for here, please just let someone know and we'll try to accomodate you!

Hal R - have you found the books area? Dead On and Off the Net: Offline. I'll fire up a topic or two over there for you.

Considering we have no way

Considering we have no way to start new topics and we're limited in what we can post about, it might be time to bid adieu to Dead.net.

Nice try, folks :)

Robert Hunter's Birthday

...shall we go, you and I while we can...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROBERT HUNTER!!!

It might be a nice idea to open a happy birthday thread for the only member of the band who was never onstage...Bob turns 66 tomorrow! Maybe you've got something in mind already, but it seems appropriate to acknowledge this. With out those words, there would have been no songs!
