Whippersnap is always a good time, this year it's in Yorkville, IL. Also, ShoeFest in the Kankakee county of IL should be a blast as well. = )

Furthur will be doing Workingman's Dead in its entirity one of the three nights they play. I am very hopeful that Bobby will be healthy by then ... this could be beyond memorable.

FYI, 10,000 Lakes has been shuttered since 2009, unless you know something I don't which is quite likely after all.

Ojai!

My favorite summer music festival in recent years has been the Ojai festival in southern California. They really do some interesting stuff. This year there are intimate sunrise concerts on beautiful Ojai hillsides and late night concerts of John Cage music. Also, matinee and evening concerts on saturday and sunday. Highly recommended!
