Welcome to the latest evolution of Dead.Net. Before you start clicking around we just wanted to give you three... no, four, informational gems.

1. We want you to know that this site is going to be ever-improving, ever-evolving and never sitting still. Post your ideas, your wish lists, your hopes for what you wish this site could be. We have a million ideas of our own, and we want to build this 'thing' into the best 'thing' it can be.

2. At the moment, we have not fully merged the community/archives with the store. That means that you are going to have to create a whole 'nother account when you want to go to the store and buy stuff. We are working really hard to make it so that you only need one account. In the meantime, when you do create your User accounts, please use the same email address for both so that we can unite them when the time comes.

3. The store. Yes, the shelves are a little empty right now. We are moving truckloads of merch to a shiny new warehouse, and so it's not all in yet. We will be adding tons of new stuff really soon!

4. That's it! Wander around and check it all out. We hope you're happy with what we're building here, since really, it's all for you.

You can't start new topics

because the place would rapidly degenerate into chaos if it were set up that way.

We have things set up under broad themes--take a look in the forums to see if what you want to say fits under something that's already posted (e.g. tickets wanted, looking for the person you met at a show, etc.). If you think there's some topic we should be talking about, go post in What Else Should We Be Talking About?, or send me a PM.

Thanks!

go to the New, New, New Vines topic

and read the info in the topic header.

That should give you an essential introduction to the terrain... Happy vining! A lot of folks have put a lot of work into the place, and the results have been quite good.

hello I'm mr. Ed

no not really but just felt like saying that

hey clue me into all this vine business and what do i do to get in on it?
is there a place that tells you how to do it, i've looked but dont see anyting, which doesn't mean much since i just discovered what all these vines have on them. i really should pay more attention, i mean i've only been on here for a little over two years
by the way marye - you are a star! seriously all the work you put into this place just fantastic and impressive.

there does seem to be an issue with the chat

for some new accounts; we're looking into it.

As to the upload, stick with reasonably sized jpgs and see what happens, although the fan photos feature does seem to have issues. If the problems persist, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
