The Grateful Dead has really inspired me to be creative in my life. I have "dead"icated my life to making these expressions of my spirituality through the medium of oil paints, acrylics, watercolors, wood carving, clay. Check out my blog site. This will have to do until I get a real web page soon. I also have a myspace page. If you like really crazy, abstract, psychedelic, and colorful paintings check me out.
The Grateful Dead were an integral part of the early beginnings of Howl At The Moon Gifts and those influences can still be seen today. Howl At The Moon Gifts specializes in Hand Crafted Jewelry, Geekery, and Vintage. This month I take look back and reminisce about those great times.
Here is a link to my blog that brings you up to speed on my history of vending with the Dead and how all of those shows over all of those years:

This San Fran yoga clinic is a modern day story of victory for the American Dream! Owned and operated by an acquaintance of mine, Elizabeth Palmer (please don't hold that against her), a highly talented, former corporate art/layout professional (Sharper Image has never been the same since she left) who turned against the current economic trends and mentality, to start this now highly successful business that has, not only helped her to obtain self sufficiency but helped others as well, in ways money just isn't able. I recently met with her mom and caught up with her story (I haven't seen her in over 20 years, unfortunately). I was so impressed, I just had to opine.
