About Me: 51yr old male. Been into the Dead for many a year. First saw them live on the Europe 72 tour. Alexandra Palace next. (Those stacks were just too big!) Germany, when Pete Townsend of The Who joined The Dead on stage playing Magic Bus blew me away. Last saw The Dead live at The Rainbow London. Lived London in the 80s before escaping to Devon, to become a single parent to three loving kids. Been here, in Devon, for 20yrs now. Into Philosophy and Sociology at the moment. That's all.
Looking for: A long lost bootleg wherein The Dead play Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds as an encore. A copy of that concert in Germany wherein Pete Townsend joins The Dead on stage playing Magic Bus. It was broadcast live by the BBC. Promo poster with the Europe 72 triple album (icecream on the head man super imposed with foot stepping (trukin') over the planet.) A documentary on The Dead wherein they play Althea, Trukin', Playing in the Band, and so much more. Last seen on English Television on the day Diana married Charles, as a royal wedding alternative. About three hrs long. Not the Grateful Dead Movie.
