About Me

I am stuck in Chicago. We came here from the UK to see Ratdog. Had a fantastic week then the night before we were due to fly home my husband suffered an aneyurism and has spent the last three weeks in ICU.

He's been through so much and there's even more neurosurgery tomorrow. I'm quite lonely with no-one to talk to here. That's why I signed onto the site.

There are many blessings though. Firstly that we were five minutes away from one of the best neuro units in the states when it happened. Then it was only 10 minutes before we left that I bought the travel insurance. They are paying the medical and hotel bills.

In a way I believe Ratdog saved his life thus far. If it had have happened where we live in rural England then I don't think we'd even have got to the ambulance in time.
