About Me

Born in Washington, DC, traveled as a child with family in Lebanon, Morocco & Algeria in late 50s & early 60s (foreign service kid), graduated with degree in Philosophy from Dickinson College, hitchhiked across country from DC to San Francisco in 1974, worked for Civil Aeronautics Board 1977-81, then moved to rural Virginia to join an intentional community, worked my way thru nursing school milking cows, married 1988 & have been a psychiatric nurse for the past 20+ years...got into the Dead around 1969 & still groove to their music today!
