Grateful Dead
Two New Releases

We're happy to announce the arrival of Road Trips Volume 3 Number 1 and Jerry Garcia Band: Keystone Berkeley.
To celebrate, we've been streaming select tracks - like this very special song from the latest Jerry Garcia Band release, Let It Rock.

Have just realised that on the night of this gig I was watching the Who in London, doing a Charity show for the People of Kampuchea. The ticket was bought from a Scalper for 10x cost.
During the show they played an extended version of Dancing in the Street. I only knew that number as a Tamla dance track being oblivious to GD at the time. My recollection is it going on for over 15 minutes. Never heard the Who play it again and unfortunately the track didn't make it onto the Vinyl release. What did make it onto the Vinyl was the worst version of Baba O'Reily ever, Townshend at his worst. A lovely version of Robert Plant covering Little Sister is probably the highlight.
I've always heard that word ,"fluff", used in a positive sense. I remember on the summer '95 tour that the best and freshest of what was around was nicknamed "white fluff" cleanest too also some blackish-golden colored pyramids clean. If I'm treading where I shouldn't go then I'm right on par.
prob the most beautiful version I have heard, loved Keith but Nicky does shine here
Dude, it only took a second to load!- no minutes here. The freakin' gas pump that raped me the other day said "one moment, please." it was seriously several moments, but it at least said please, too bad it didn't kiss me first! "I'm just so glad I could be a part, of a band that practiced so it's art. Jerry will always be in my heart."- BG Greenlee( me) I wrote that the day Jerry died. Thanks for the little miracle!
Love and Light,
Beth
So sweet, so fine...can shut my eyes and be there! What a fine sound, my oh my...sweet honey running through my ears into my brain. So glad I was alive during this time...to hear this music is to know true love! Thank you Jerry for all you gave to us!
I have always loved the tracks where Jerry is mic'd clearly and cleanly. Bravo for releasing this gem!
