SALES TAX INFORMATION
Residents in the States of CA, FL, GA, IL, MN, NJ, NY, PA, TX must pay Sales Tax as part of their order. Sales tax will automatically be applied if you are making the purchase through the Online Store.

If you are placing an order through mail, phone or some other method you must calculate and add the Sales tax for your State. If Sales tax is not included, your order will NOT be processed until the correct amount is paid. The Gratefuldead Store will notify customers that there is an additional amount due via email or written letter to email address or shipping address associated with the order.

 

TECHINCAL AND SITE INFORMATION

Reset your Password
To retrieve your password, please visit the login area of the online store and select:
"Email me a new password." In a few minutes you will receive an email with your auto-generated password. Once you receive this log on to the site and visit the My Account screens to reset your password.

Update your Shipping Address
While Checking out with an order you will be Prompted to select a Shipping Address at step 2 of 3: Shipping. Simply click the “Add New Address” and enter the address that you would like this order shipped to. You can also visit the My Account screen to edit your list of shipping addresses. Please note that if you change one of your shipping addresses after you have placed an order that order will still be shipped to the OLD address. If you need to change the shipping address on order which is being processed please contact customer service.

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION

To check on the status of your order, simply click here Order History. Account and Order information can be seen by following the "My Account" link found in the upper right hand site of the Store and continue by selecting Order History. Shipping and Handling Information
Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for delivery, although orders will likely arrive sooner. For orders outside of the USA, delivery time may vary depending on your delivery area. Orders are processed in the order received. If you are shipping to an Army Post Office (APO) and Fleet Post Office (FPO) please select "Ground" and you will be charged the standard fee for ground shipping, but will really receive your package via USPS.

Domestic Shipping
The Gratefuldead Store ships orders within the USA as either Ground or 2nd Day Air, by UPS. Shipping rates are calculated based on the products weight and size. All Shipping Rates are calculated by UPS and reflect the actual cost of shipping. A handling fee will be applied to all orders and

International Shipping
The Gratefuldead Store ships orders via UPS World Wide Express to countries outside of the United States. Please note that The Gratefuldead Store is NOT responsible for duties or taxes incurred on packages shipped internationally. Shipping rates are calculated based on the products weight and size. All Shipping Rates are calculated by UPS and reflect the actual cost of shipping.

The shipping charges applied to your order do not include custom fees. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information. If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned.

We do not estimate customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. The delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time, you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package for payment of fees. Also, some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your customs fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment.
Please be familiar with the customs charges in your country before you order.

Due to International shipping law/practices, we are unable to declare merchandise as "Gift" on customs forms.

Using a European zip/postal code in the Check Out Process
If you are getting a zip/postal code rejection, and live in a European country, please place a space between the postal district and the sector of your postal code.

 

 

ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT

Credit Cards
The Gratefuldead Store accepts the following Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Checks and Money Orders
Please make checks or money orders payable to “Grateful Dead”. If you choose to pay for your order with a check, you must allow 3 weeks for the check to clear before your order is processed. Your order will still be shipped within the regular delivery time of up to 6 weeks. We accept checks in US dollars from a US bank ONLY.

International Orders
We accept checks in US dollars only if your local bank is affiliated with a U.S. Bank. We suggest that you contact your local bank for further information about international bank drafts, "Swift Checks" or money orders used for U.S. Dollar transactions. Otherwise, you may want to consider credit card payment. We cannot accept checks in any foreign currencies - sorry.

We do not accept checks in US Dollars drawn on International Banks outside of the USA. We accept checks in US Dollars from a US BANK ONLY. Sorry, no exceptions.

    All Hats and Other Accessories sizing is specifed as either Adjustable or One Size Fits All as Part of the Product Description.


RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Merchandise may be exchanged for other sizes or items as long as they have not been worn, washed or damaged. The Gratefuldead Store is not responsible for postage charges incurred by customers exchanging merchandise. Returns will be issued a credit for the amount of the original purchase price of the item that is returned if it is not exchanged for other merchandise. Please check the Gratefuldead Store for all available sizes and items.

To exchange/return items you MUST return the merchandise within 30 days of receiving it.

No Exchanges or Returns are honored for Sale and Clearance Items. All sales are final for Sale and Clearance Items. Clearance Items are sold as-is and are Non-Returnable or Non-Exchangable. If a Clearance Item you ordered is sold out, a credit will be issued for that item and sent to you.

Multimedia items (CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, etc.) - Non-returnable or exchangeable once opened.

Once an order ships, the shipping and handling charges are NON-Refundable.

Refunds are determined by The Gratefuldead Store, and are only issued for those orders that were paid with a credit card. Orders with check or money order payment will receive a credit certificate for the returned items(s).

Order Cancelation
Once an order has been placed, it is not possible to cancel orders. All orders are immediately processed for shipping once we receive them. The Gratefuldead Store reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason at our discretion.

 

OTHER POLICY INFORMATION
At any time, the Gratefuldead Store may feature items at a reduced price. If you’ve ordered an item previously or after the time the item is featured on sale, you will not be given that sale price. The sale or reduced price is only honored when the item is ordered with in the time it is featured on sale or the price reduced.

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of purchased merchandise items at any time.

If an item is not available in the Gratefuldead Store, it is not currently available for purchase.
