YOW!
The highlights from this show are numerous; Jack Straw opener, Phil!, unbelievable Bird Song, and we're not even in the second set yet.
Possibly the best China/Rider I ever caught, crazy Dark Star and the rest is a blur, until cozying up to a beautiful Baby Blue.
Two great nights in NC, tough tickets but well worth it.
Gorgeous Bird song! Great drums.

Dan Healy had the place sounding great! Long tuning before Dark Star, then a long jam before the first verse. Right after the verse, the music got Very Weird Very Fast! It seemed like the Dark Star continued on through drums and space for a total duration of about 45 minutes! Then we got the Playin' reprise from the night before! Double Blue Dylan with the Thumb and Baby Blue! Phil was ROCKIN© at this gig!
". . . Music is the best!" (fz)
