My first
My first Dead show....a small venue not quite 20 miles from home. The New Riders opened up....Jerry on pedal steel....I'm not sure if they'd even released their first album yet.

power outage
I think this was the show where the Dead hit the chord in sugar Magnolia-into Sunshine Daydream and the power in the whole place went out for a bit. Pretty great small show. I has in school at HarpurBinghamton NY) at the time and zipped down.
