This was my first show and the memory still lives. It was truly amazing and the band played so long the power was cut off at the end--twice!! if there was a soundboard recording of this out there somewhere I would sure like to get my hands on it.
Seeing the Grateful Dead at the old Mammoth. Don't know what it was like in 1970 but by the 80's the place was pretty much in shambles. The Filmore now is really nice.
"I've stayed in every blue-light cheap hotel. Can't win for tryin. Dust off those rusty strings just one more time. Gonna make em shine."
