Damn I miss Jerry................
first show for my baby chynnakatt. had a "grate" time!!!
This was my first time getting to see the band play in my stomping grounds....Living in Atlanta at the time ...just finishing the 4 nite run there with the National Gaurd as the door security, it was nice to see my town welcome the band back with open arms. Nice newspaper adds etc....This was INDEED nite one of what became my last two shows.
Having not played Bham in over 15 yrs ...I KNEW IT WOULD BE SOMETHIN...MEET CHA IN THA POURIN RAIN...
GARCIA IS SO DEEPLY MISSED. Just happy to have had my last show on home turf......RESPECT AND LOVE
Bham was a cool scene. Very mellow :) Aiko was a highlight along with terrapin.
Will never forget the kindness of the people, the mood, made $$ for a ticket, made the purchase, was so stoked I got it, still am. Terrapin, oh man, that was cool
This was my first and sadly only Grateful Dead (with Jerry) show. I was a senior in high school and camped out to get tickets. It was amazing & definitely changed my life! Missing Jerry this week...especially coming off the heels of the amazing Furthur show in Alpharetta last week. Good times!
Great show had no idea it would be our last godspeed jerry
This was my first and only Grateful Dead show. It was without a doubt one of the most magical experiences of my life and I walked away a devoted Deadhead. Would love to see this and the show the following night released on CD so I can listen and relive the experience. I just wish the roommates I had at the time had enjoyed it as much as I did but I guess the Dead ain't for everyone.
This was my first show...I had been a fan for some time but I became deadicated that night...I didn't know my life was about to change! Good stuff! How can I get a copy of this show....anybody? Peace love and light! :)
