General admission. We were on the floor about 8' in front of Bobby. Some dude was selling party favors down there. By the second set, he was just tearing them off and handing out to everyone yelling "doses for the second set". Looks like rain, feels like rain. No, its Bobby spitting on us as he's singing! Wow, what a show. Probably the best time I ever had at a show. Nevermind the pre and post show antics!

This was one of the danciest shows I can remember seeing. Seemed like the whole place was boogieing. Hated the "Satisfaction" (still do), but most of my friends liked it. Great show.

I loved this place. General admission dance fever. Haven't listened to this show in long, long time but my memory from the show was a great space and strong Other One.

At the tender age of 16, there I was happily supplied, and spaced on a special dose with two friends. The people, the music and the scene..wow! My fondest memory is of ALL the funky people grooving all over the place, that incredible music, and the Angel Lady dressed in an all white flowing dress. She seemed an Angel to me cuz everywhere I looked there she was dancing. I had never experienced an experience quite like that (nothing like a...) and quite frankly, it changed everything. I found out that live music, rock and roll, and specifically a Dead show, was truly magical. Funny thing is I had just started playing bass the year prior to this show. I wasn't the same after this show...this was The One that changed everything for me, and I am grateful for the xperience. Thanks Kris and Mark!

This was my hometown. It began a long run of seeing shows here. I remember it was a great show. Had a real good time.

My first show traveling from SUNY Albany. Stayed on the bus for 106 more untill the next to last show in chicago.

If i remember right this was a GA show with no seats down on the floor... We set up right in front of the stage... this time I was designated driver of the group I remember coming down from Buffalo. While sitting on the floor drinking my one beer I passed it to a buddy who wanted to "cop a sip" Don't ever let go of your beer at show and expect it to come back only beer....This was a special treat, I actually saw the music coming off of Jerry's guitar. I to this day don't remember how I got back to my Dad's house on Long Island...but I made it to Nassau Coliseum the next night and back to school in Buffalo by Monday.

I had seen the Syracuse and Buffalo shows in 1981, and the Syracuse show the night before this show, but this one got me on the bus. Ended up defying Mom and going to Glens Falls a couple of nights later, and seeing 50+ more Grateful Dead concerts through the years. Here it is 2016 and the long, strange trip continues...just saw Dead & Co. in Buffalo and had a blast...
