    Front row center
It was my roommates birthday, who had been seeing shows since 1981. I wrote a note on the outside of the envelope mentioning this when I mailordered the tickets. They hooked me up proper, row AAA, center. Insane. The stage at Shoreline was only a few feet high. Great set too. The Dead ticket staff was always good like that. I had a friend come back from the peace corp in Africa for the 91 summer tour, and he mentioned that on the envelope. he got hooked up as well. Front row at Soldier Field. Unfortunately, the stage at Soldier field was about 15 feet high, and you couldn't see the band from the front row.

I've always admired the 8/91 CA run for no repeats in 6 shows. Thanks you Grateful Dead for keeping it fresh.

This show was another super set. I remember that god afull sound when the speakers blew in the middle of Deal. Brokedown to finish off a 6 show Expo/Shoreline run was sweet!

...last show before my son was born (9/26/91) and a new world and universe began...the Expo/Shoreline shows were really sweet for me...Deadheads were so kind and loving to me and my soon to be born son..gentle belly rubs and instant "quick-pass" to the next restroom!

What a sweet way to end three magical days at Shoreline! Jerry was sounding so sweet on Takes A Lot To Laugh. What a lovely song! I was so happy when they played that - it fit so well and wish they played it more as a 1st set treat. And how about that unique 2nd set! Felt a bit choppy as they played each song on its own with the segue jams but each song was wonderfully played and totally jammed out in 2nd Set style! The Brokedown was the totally sweet cherry on the Sunday! Very Grateful! Brother A
